Online Safety
At St. Luke’s we take safety very seriously
Online Safety is making sure that you are safe whenever you use the internet, mobile phones, tablets and even if you are playing games or watching films.
Online Safety is covered in all of our ICT teaching and learning.
At St. Luke's we understand the improtance of online safety and provide pupils, staff and parents with up to date information on how to keep safe when using technology. We realise that technology is ever changing (even the most innocent of online games can hold dangers), so we try our best to keep up with the changes that could affect the safety of pupils when online.
We regularily feature safety posters, flyers and advice circulatedby government and authorities to help you better understand and protect you and your family:

Online Safety Webinar
At St Luke's Primary and Nursery, we understand the importance of ensuring the online safety of our students. In our increasingly digital world, it is crucial that parents are equipped with the right knowledge and tools to guide their children safely through online spaces. We are committed to providing comprehensive resources and support to help you understand the potential risks and how to effectively manage them. Together, we can create a secure online environment for our children.
Our online safety tips include teaching children about the importance of keeping personal information private, recognizing safe and unsafe websites, and understanding the impact of their online actions. We encourage parents to actively engage with their children's digital lives through open conversations and by setting a good example of online behavior. Remember, a collaborative approach to online safety can empower our children to make smarter and more responsible decisions on the internet. Please see our Webinar below for our top tips for keeping safe online.
